Some of the riddles are short and straight to the point, even if I can't understand what point the author is trying to make. My favorite riddle is number 12:
Not a burden for its weight
and daily carried out,
he who takes it wishes
it had never come about.
To me this is talking about burdens that weigh heavily one someones shoulders, a burden that affects someone on a daily basis. For those who the burden affects, they wish it had never existed because of the overwhelmingness that it has put on themselves.
It's a short and to the point type of book that anyone can read while standing in line at the grocery store. Most are pretty thought provoking and will be left inside you while you try to find the hidden meaning behind each one. Others, are more apparent, but are just as enjoyable to read. I rate this book a 5/5 for a great riddle book that I found to be a fun and interesting read.
