This book did something important for me. I've taken art history courses in high school and college. I read a lot about art and artists. Now I realize that although I have my "favorite" artists, I don't have any idea of how to really view art. So the problem is, is knowing how to view art similar to having rhythm? in that either you have it or you don't? Or is it something you can learn? I love Cezanne's paintings but only because I find them pleasing. I can understand what people say about the importance of Cezanne, but I'd like to be able to see that for myself.… (plus d'informations)
