I read last year's edition and it had some illustrations, poems and other things that were somewhat helpful or interesting. This year, not so much. I doubt I do something similar with this series next year and perhaps look for another resource.

I read this as a daily devotion to get ideas for illustrations. There were some poems and stories and other things that might be useful. Some of the sermons weren't bad, but most of them were almost all law, with very little Gospel. Much was focused on what we should or must do, but very little was about what Jesus has done for us. The Lutheran focus would be on what Jesus has done for us, but we shouldn't forget that good works are expected as a result of our faith. I may get one of these types of books again next year.… (plus d'informations)
