Courte biographie
As a child, Anna Cleary loved reading so much that during the midnight hours she was forced to read with a torch under the bedcovers, to lull the suspicions of her sleep-obsessed parents. From an early age she dreamed of writing her own books. She saw herself in a stone cottage by the sea, wearing a velvet smoking jacket and sipping sherry, like Somerset Maugham. In real life she became a schoolteacher, where her greatest pleasure was teaching children to write beautiful stories.

A little while ago, she and one of her friends made a pact to each write the first chapter of a romance novel in their holidays. From writing her very first line, Anna was hooked, and she gave up teaching to become a full-time writer. She now lives in Queensland, Australia, with a deeply sensitive and intelligent cat. She prefers champagne to sherry and loves music, books, four-legged people, trees, movies and restaurants.

A sweet story which is not something that I say often about HPs. The heroine was a naïve rich girl who didn't really know how to go on in the read world. The Hero was a widower who had trouble accepting that he was moving on. It was well written and interesting with good characterization.

Interestingly different in that the hero was a spy. The heroine was a bit of a ditsy mary jane type. She had an education and a good job though so she met the hero as an equal even if she was younger and a virgin. She kind of had him with his head spinning a bit which is a favorite trope of mine.

The plot was fun and moved along well. There was angst and humor and I liked the heat level between the hero and heroine. I will definitely look for more from this new to me author

rabck from prettypoodle; not as racy as this series usually is. Set in Australia (unusual for a romance), Connor is hired by his Dad's friend to investigate Sophy's interest in a local business man. But when Connor discovers that Sophy is not interested in the married man as a boyfriend, he decides to take that part for himself.

This was another enjoyable novella. Seems everyone at this wedding at some point was hooked up with the groom. Honey the bride, cannot help but be a little nervous about the fact that all his exes will be at the wedding. She is still feeling a little insecure regarding how deep Brent's feelings run for her.

Eve is one of the exes. She has come to this wedding with one purpose in mind... she wants to stop Brent from marrying Honey. She wants him to reconsider and pick her instead of Honey.

Enter Brent's brother Rainier. There is no way he is going to let Eve ruin this wedding. There is no way he is going to let her continue this delusion of her affections for his brother. Let's face, he does not want to share her with anyone. It is high time Eve learned she belongs to him.

This sometimes comedic sometimes erotic novella will keep you entertained with all the goings on. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did.
