I find this book to be extremely unbelievable. And also kinda boring because the MCs are uninteresting.

But at the same time I liked it. so, I'm torn.

I liked the story over all. I loved Emile, but I just couldn't relate that well to Theresa. I never really liked her. She was too set in her ways and not willing to compromise.

After a one night stand, career woman Theresa & soccer star Emile end up in a marriage of convenience. A fake marriage for one year, to help get Theresa's mom off her back and to keep an ex away from Emile. However, things change...

Typical fake marriage turns real romance. It was a light, low-angst romance. If that's what you are looking for, this is your book.

Great story and characters--Emile is charming and sweet; Theresa is strong and independent. Friendship and a convenient-for-both-their-careers romance builds towards love.
