Edgar Christian (1908–1927)

An interesting book once beyond the rank stupidity involved with the three prime participants. Empire building surely involves knowing more than the people living off the land for millennia (read, Franklin) and dying elegantly (read, Scott) while following your leader to his and your doom (but, “Don’t blame dear Jack!”). That empire is now mostly gone, thankfully. And, rightfully so, with approaches such as these. The book Is a memorial from the parents to their teenage son and tis, as stated. Just, with a better appreciation of the setting (I have lived in the Arctic), the book need never have happened. Finished 15.05.20 at the Grand Canyon North Rim.… (plus d'informations)
