Wow! A most unusual mystery thriller which challenges the concepts of the genre. Very modern and although a coming of age element the eroticism aspect is dealt with tastefully. A highly "unputdownable " book. The hero is unique,the characters are vivid,the plot has an enormous number of twists and turns and the style is "literature" writ large!
The fact that there is a mystery to solve (heaps better than the Da Vinci one) with a prize only adds to the pleasure.
This could be one of those books which bubbles under for a while then becoming a cult thing before suddenly emeging.
