This thin book is only about 5 1/2" by 7 1/2" and many illustrations are only about 1 1/2" wide, so despite the charm of pictures you can't see much detail without a magnifying glass. Most of the text is of interest only to specialist collectors, and some of it is strangely moralistic, e.g, "Another tactic of the puppet government [Japanese occupiers] was to produce calendar posters with feudal, superstitious, pornographic, or debauched contents in the hope of poisoning people's minds and weakening their collective will."… (plus d'informations)
