Why does no one ever go to the police??
Some aspects of the book frustrated me but overall I was caught up in the story and it was hard to put down.
I found the epilogue very interesting, I didn't expect it and I can't stop thinking about what would happen to the characters in the future.

One Little Lie by Sam Carrington Published by Avon Books UK Avon is a busy book that you have to pay attention to or you might get lost. Thank you Netgalley and everyone involved for my ARC. I will be honest this is what caught my attention. ‘I’m Alice. And my son is a murderer.’ It starts off well enough and I am smart enough to be able to keep up but each chapter is a new character and then they seem to loop back around. Now about the story I liked it I think I would have liked it a bit better if the web that it was put in was a bit tighter. What I liked about the story is the support group feel to it which I love. A book that makes me invest in it to get to know the characters is a book worth reading. I often wonder how parents cope with the idea of their children being killers? Do they feel blame? I think for me I needed this to come together a little quicker. All and all 3 solid stars. I have a friend who loves this kind of stuff and have already suggested it.

I enjoyed this book a lot, it has a good pace and managed to keep from boring me with descriptions or a whole lot of unnecessary waffling. The slow reveal structure was good and kept me gripped for the majority of the story. The reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is because for me, the twist at the end was just... not compelling. The build up was there, but I had hoped it was going in a different direction entirely. I wasn't shocked at where it went, but I was disappointed. It made a lot of the things before lose some of its sense. I don't think I'd enjoy a reread of this book nearly as much. Still, it was a good read, and I am planning to read another book by this author.… (plus d'informations)
