Some of those other characters have big roles to play in this story, they are from previous books in the series. At times it would be nice to know those stories and give context to them and their stories as a part of this one, but it isn't necessary to understand and follow this story.
There were a few problems with pacing and some inconsistencies with how much the author describes things, but neither of those take away from the story. If grammar errors bother you while reading this probably isn't the best book for you. There were a lot of extra or missing words; misspellings; sentences that are poorly written; etc. Had these things been fixed, I would have given the book a higher rating. There were too many of them, it made the book seem a little jarring.
This was a sweet romance, no language or graphic sex. Scenes like that were only implied (Ex. Talking about a hotel room being booked for later) There was passionate kissing that could be offensive to people who want a completely clean romance.
It ends with a happily ever after and wraps up a little too quickly in my opinion. The end made it feel more like an instant romance that didn't have enough time to develop. It was a little too clean the way it wrapped up, not messy enough to make their happily ever after feel deserved. There wasn't much work put into the relationship.
I struggled to connect with the main characters, the secondary characters were far more interesting (in my opinion), maybe that's why I'm more critical about this story than I usually would be. It wasn't a horrible book, I still enjoyed reading it and read it quickly, I just don't think it was the right book for me.… (plus d'informations)
