This is an interesting compilation of the ads that were used to attempt to keep passenger service from disappearing from what it was into the 1920's as I see railroad passenger history. As we see it didn't work very well and now Amtrak is what we are faced with on a much more limited basis than was available in the first part of the 20th century. It will be an interesting reference book for my library. I would certainly have enjoyed seeing more railroads represented as well as more equipment providers. One is overwhelmed with EMD and New York Central. It is an interesting study in advertising art although I find the material available in railroad produced brochures and booklets much more interesting.… (plus d'informations)
