Jeanne Bryner

Jeanne Bryner was born in Appalachia and grew up in a blue collar family in industrial Ohio near Warren. She graduated from New ton Falls High School, Trumbull Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, and Kent State University's Honor's College. She has worked as a certified emergency room nurse since afficher plus 1979. She also teaches writing workshops in schools, universities, nursing homes, and with cancer support groups. She edited two anthologies, Safehouse: Women Living With Cancer and Song: Breast Cancer Survivors. Her Breathless collection of poems was published by Kent State University Press, followed by Blind Horse: Poems from Bottom Dog Press.
