Gordon Brown became Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on June 27, 2007. Previously, he was the longest-serving Chancellor of the Exchequer in 200 years. He is the author of several books, including Maxton, Where There Is Greed, and The Politics of Nationalism and Devolution.
