Critiques

An incredibly boring analysis of the words and music of Bob Dylan. The author is a post-modern who believes that what the listener gets out of a piece is more important than what the artist was doing. While this probably matches my own experience of Dylan, I still think it is odd to offer that as the basis for a scholarly book. The chapter on Aesthetics is a short review of the literature of rock criticism at the time.
