At the age of seven, Mitchell Bornstein jumped atop his first horse, and in the forty years since, he has pursued his life's dream of working with damaged, abused, and difficult horses. College, law school, and nineteen years as an attorney led him on a journey to save the horses that no one else afficher plus will. Bornstein lives in Wheeling, Illinois. An interesting look at the challenges of training a damaged horse. Mitchell Bornstein had much more patience than any normal person and was willing to put up with more than the average bloke. I'm sure I would have given up long before he did. Mr Bornstein wove the story of Samson together with the history of mustang round ups. I found this distracting and difficult to follow. I think he was trying to draw on similarities between Samson and his breed, but he lost me. I didn't really get the metaphor.… (plus d'informations)

A wonderful book. The story of Samson and Mitchell is truly touching, and is enhanced by the history of mustangs throughout the book. It's touching, inspirational and educational, all rolled into one book about a very special bond between a very special horse and human.
