I'm going to miss reading these, as I've thoroughly enjoyed hunting them down and reading them in order over the past several years. Highly recommended for fans of old school smut with quite a bit of espionage thrown in for good measure. Here's to you Mr. Bocca, for keeping me entertained and reading with a smile on my face.

lennynero | Apr 28, 2015 | Commander Amanda heads to Franco-ruled Spain in her fourth adventure, seeking out her arch nemesis, Father Grotius, the man responsible for her torture in some of her previous adventures. Once there she navigates through the underworld of Madrid, filled with ex-nazis, whip happy nuns, and lustful lesbian ambassadors.
Revelli keeps the plot moving briskly with lots of twists and turns and his portrait of Madrid under Franco is particularly vivid. Highly recommended.

lennynero | May 9, 2014 | Commander Amanda is back in this, her third adventure. After being shot down behind enemy lines during the last weeks of the war, she ends up in a castle with a surreal mix of pow's, including a Russian general and a faded French film star. Let the sexual shenanigans begin!
Revelli, always imminently readable, keeps this one short and sweet at 200 pages, keeping more in line with the first book in the series, and avoiding the convoluted spy plotting of the second. Highly recommended to 70's/80's smutty paperback collectors!

lennynero | Mar 1, 2014 | Commander Amanda is back behind enemy lines again in this, her second adventure. This time shes helping out the French resistance along the Cote d'Azure along with several of her prewar friends who reside there. Unlike the first book, she's not the sole focus of this one, but one of a large cast of people who are on both sides of the battle. Not as much smut in this one either, just a couple of corporal punishment scenes thrown in for good measure. Definitely thin on the smut, but thick with WWII spy intrigue.

lennynero | Dec 12, 2013 | This is a remarkable book. It's well written, and the story told is a fascinating one of a young woman who is parachuted into France near the end of WWII to help the Resistance. It mostly concerns her conflicting emotions as she comes to terms with her sexuality, and particularly its response to the sadistic whims of her captors. Her husband, engaged elsewhere in the war, features prominently in her emotions, as do a few of her antagonists. All-in-all the book comes into the category of erotic punishment, and at the extreme end of that genre, but it deals with its subject surprisingly sensitively.
