I Know His Name: Discovering Power in the Names of… par Wendy Blight
It wasn't quite what I expected, but it was very useful and I will refer back to it often. The author is able to use familiar events in the Bible to demonstrate God's love for us and the many ways in which He shows it. He knows our needs before we do and has provided for us, even in His Word.
Two words that capture the attention of students of the Word are “so that” in various passages of Scripture. Each chapter begins with a prayer for women to help before studying, then through the pages the author leads through various places in the Bible.
Not only do we learn the meaning of the two words “so that” written by inspiration of the Spirit for us, but also how we can allow God to take knowledge of head to our hearts. To accompany the teaching, we will read the thoughts of the author along with challenges she presents.
