I found that Undomesticated Women: Anecdotal Evidence from the Road by Anna Blake to be a great travel memoir. The author provides vivid details of what she saw and what she did along her travels. I enjoyed seeing through her eyes of the adventures she encountered. As an animal lover and a mama of a horse crazed teenager, I was hooked. I was able to connect with the author almost instantly. I loved how she was able to tell her about herself and what was going through. I admired her bravery in taking this journey with her sweet little furry friend and telling her story. At times, the book toyed with my emotions, one moment I was brought to tears and wanting to grab the tissues, while the next, I am laughing out loud. I greatly enjoyed reading this tale and found it to be inspiring. I loved spending a cold, snowy day while reading it.
I am giving Undomesticated Women: Anecdotal Evidence from the Road a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who enjoy reading memoirs. I believe it would be a perfect placement in public libraries. I would love to see more books from Anna Blake in the future. She no doubt is a gifted storyteller.
I received a paperback copy of Anna Blake's Undomesticated Women: Anecdotal Evidence from the Road from the publisher but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.

I did not know this book was sort of a sequel to Stable Relation as I have not read that book. I say "sort of sequel" because like the author states, this book does not read like a traditional sequel. I did enjoy reading this book. It kind of reminded me of Travels with Charley in Search of America by John Steinbeck.

Just Anna and Mister, her corgi. I loved Mister. As a fellow introvert, I could relate a lot to Anna and her reactions to situations. Yes, it is ok to say "no" when people want to talk or pet your dog. In a way, I felt like reading this book could also be kind of like a guide as to how to apply how dogs and horses react to situations in human life.

Animals are very intuitive to emotions and if we just are perspective to them, we can react better. Like body language and when we have our barriers up if someone is getting too close to our personal space. I did enjoy traveling with Anna and Mister and exploring the various places they went.
