'Zen For Beginners' is a beautifully-written book which makes me want to learn much more about the subject.

A compassionate look at the challenges of being a spiritually/emotioanlly sensitive person. Judith Blackstone draws on her experiences as a psychotherapist and uses a technique she developed called the Realization Process to address and overcome these challenges. This technique draws heavily on Eastern teachings particularly Zen; of all the Eastern philosophies Zen is the most difficult for me to understand and the one I have the least affinity for. I would give a cautious recommendation of this book to someone interested or knowledgeable in Zen - without that qualifier a reader might find this book confusing and unhelpful.… (plus d'informations)

Belonging Here
A Guide for the Spiritually Sensitive Person
by Judith Blackstone, PhD

This 207 page read was a real true pleasure to review because the author took her time to share with us her years of experience dealing with spiritually sensitive folk. She shares who they are, how they are, why they are, and gives some awesome exercises that can help the spiritual sensitive to just plain old be. Being a spiritually sensitive person I could totally relate to the problems and challenges of my childhood, and could easily see how it effected my ability to parent my own children. I do believe this book is right on time and has completely made it into my spiritual toolbox. I would recommend it to anyone who is spiritually sensitive or knows someone that is. Thanks, Judith this blessed book will save many, and has already helped me immensely.

Love & Light,

Riki Frahmann
