This work has appeared in several editions, and is a classic in that part of the erotic literature genre that deals with the corporal correction of young ladies. As with many stories from the early twentieth century this purports to be the memoirs of a young woman. When she is fifteen her father re-marries, and because she fails to get on with her new stepmother she is consigned to a reformatory in which chastisements are severe and frequent. When she returns to her family she submits willingly to her stepmother's discipline, and is indeed complicit in incurring her own chastisement. She is briefly married to a man who fails completely to give her the punitive treatment she craves, but after his death she finds herself with servants and young charges, with whom she develops a taste for the more active role in F/F chastisement. The work is very atmospheric, and quite charming in many places, and can be recommended as one of the genre's highlights.… (plus d'informations)
