This was a fantastic start of the series, that was told in Edith a vampire and Darren a hunter’s points of view. Oh, this short book had so much to it. It was jam-packed! A LARP weekend that wasn’t really as innocent as just it seemed to the humans. Vampire deaths, accusations, vampire hunters in the Institute and romances too from unlikely characters.
The characters were all likeable, I particularly liked Darren, Parker and Edith.
I was completely hooked from the first page, it was my kind of book and I read it in one sitting and I was eager to pick up book two straight away.

Allied starts where Hunted finished, Darren has been waiting in a café for Edith every day for a few weeks but she is yet to appear.
Edith is laying low; it is dangerous for her and the young vampires in her care. They do reunite but is Edith and her family in more danger now?

The character development was great though and the plot development has set it so that the third book will inevitably be explosive!… (plus d'informations)

Good read.

Loved the outcome of the story line. The full circle of the past was a great story. Well written, quick read.

I was very excited to find a book series about a comic book owner. Unfortunately it sucked.

This book irritated me. The comic book aspect was pretty much non existent. The main character is a Mary Sue who knows everything. The secondary characters are little more than names on a page. The plot is just a complete mess. The police are useless. It was all tell not show but it failed even at that, because for all there was lots of telling, the main characters at the start are never really introduced. I don't particularly expect much from my cozy mysteries but this didn't even hit those markers. I won't be reading the rest of the series. 1 star.… (plus d'informations)
