Cette critique a été écrite dans le cadre des Critiques en avant-première de LibraryThing.I really enjoyed this book to start, however, I did not finish it because it felt like the story was being dragged on longer than it should have been. This is my personal opinion, it felt like there was more information than I could handle in reading a story. Not really my type of book, but there may be others who will enjoy it.

The magic system wasn't explained very well or explained why there was a negative side to using magic. It would make for a good series if it had been given a chance but overall I still enjoyed reading this book.
