Miss Spelled (The Kitchen Witch, #1) par Morgana Best
I like this book. It is a fun, fast read. Lot's of clichés, a very unsubtle plot but it doesn't pretend to be more than it is. The characters are fun, and if you are looking for a nice cozy mystery with a little bit of witchcraft and a touch of baking, this book is for you.
A cute story about a witch and her familiar in Australia, where a paranormal hunter has recruited her to help investigate a murder. With more thought and editing, it could be a much better story. Alas, the 1st half is plagued with the witch asking herself continuously “Is he going to arrest me?” I was about ready for him to do so and get it over with. Saved by a unique plot.
The author provides a Glossary before the start of the cozy noting,

In sorting Unread books on my Kindle, I discovered this title. I'm unsure what prompted my purchase as I have not read any of the author's cozies, and this isn't a sub-genre of my interest. This book is written in Aussie! Some Australian spellings and expressions are entirely different from US spellings and expressions.Australian Slang and Terms and Indigenous References are also included.
