A little dated but it's a consensus classic in the field so should be considered a MUST READ by software testers
This is the first edition of this masterwork by Boris Beizer.

Boris Beizer is an ancient master of testing software from his time working on the mountaintop of Mainframes down into the valley of the micro-computer.
If you get a chance to own one of the editions of this book, strive to own the other edition as well. He covers different material and does a good job of covering the material in both books.
Some of his methods are a bit mathematical, and generally assume you know what the process of creating software is about, but he has a lot more to say about the process than many popular software testing books.
Note: this is the 1990 hardcover second (2nd) edition. There is also a softcover published in 2008.… (plus d'informations)
