I had this book for many years, since I was a child. I remember reading it and getting involved with the activities there in.

This book is a compilation of stories told in the perspective of young children, some of which brushed up against fame, others that didn't. In each case, each child had some sort of special gift or talent to give in their current situation. It really gets one thinking when they are the age of 9 through 11. After each story comes a modern day explination that really asks more questions than answers them. Then the last section of each story comes with questions in the form of excercises and activities.
