Once I started reading it was hard to put down. It did start out a bit choppy but quickly pulled me in. In the end I was definitely rooting for the main characters to get their HEA. Some sweet romance mixed with a lot of steam. It built up momentum and suspense but warning - it is a cliffhanger. I usually avoid cliffhangers. I will, however, read the next part because I have to know what happens.

OH, MAN, WHAT A GREAT BOOK!! I was floored by Phoenyx Blake, a nineteen year old Freshman at UCLA, who had suppressed a dark secret, but she had learned how to get anything she wanted WITH JUST A TOUCH, until she was abducted, Fire Cursed had a decent plot and flowed nicely as she met three friends and they learned that they all were a part of a centuries old legend, AND I CAN'T WAIT TO READ BOOK TWO!
This was a great supernatural romance. I always judge a romance by if I can take out all the sex and the story is still interesting. Which this book was! I really liked the premise and the story was very good. I would recommend this to any lover of good romance books.

This was a very enjoyable book and I love reading about all sorts of shifter species. It's different reading a book with so many different species like Phoenix, gryphon, kitsune, dragon, were, mermaids, sirens, selfies, vampires and more. I love how the story has been coming together with all the characters and everything.
It was a bit of a slow and different read at first but then it got more and more interesting and intense as it went and now I'm really intrigued to see what happens next. I can't wait for the next book. I'm also hoping to hear more about some of the other shifter species that weren't in this book as much like the Naga - that's one I'm more curious about because I don't usually read or hear much about Naga in stories as often.
