This new e-magazine focuses on action-adventure series, like Don Pendleton's THE EXECUTIONER with sidetracks into movies, TV, and a few related subjects. It starts well with the editor's introduction and with an effective interview with the author of the WINGMAN series. But other articles, such as the one on the Knight Rider TV series (and its follow-ups) are devoid of anything more interesting than lists and basic facts, and an appreciation of Sam Peckinpah's film BRING ME THE HEAD OF ALFREDO GARCIA is so badly written that it won't make sense to anyone who hasn't already seen the film. Still, all-in-all, this first edition is a quick, enjoyable read and has made me more interested in a genre I have largely avoided up until now.… (plus d'informations)
