Ann Atkinson

A series of shortish biographies on a range of Australians, well-known in their time but faded to obscurity now. I think some are still well-known enough to avoided includion here (Roy Cazaly of "Up there Cazaly" fame for one), but the book is an enjoyable read; discovering new footnote Australians and reminding yself of others listed here that I had met before.

There's a good cross-section of society included here, from Australia's first bushranger Black Caeser to alternative living proponent William Chidley, to the Witch of Kings Cross Rosaleen Norton and many in between.
