Everyday Milo goes to school and plays with his friends, unfortunately, most of the time he gets stuck with a character in the pretend game that he doesn't like (knight instead of a king, etc). His mom points out to him that there are many advantages and disadvantages to being different characters when you play but that the most important character that you play is being yourself. When you stay positive and don't let other people bring you down then they end up wanting to play your game.

This book is great for young childfren. Its about a litlte boy named Milo, who feels like he just does not fit in at all. He never gets to do what he wants while playing with his school friends.ends he never gets to have the role he wants to. His friends always make fun of him and make him think that something is wrong with him. His mother is the one who reminds him all the time just how special he is. As a teacher, I could use this to prove to each individual student how special they are no matter what. The illustrations in this story were very good also!… (plus d'informations)

A wonderful picture book that really expresses the importance of individuality. A young boy named Milo feels like he never really fits in. When playing with his friends he never gets to have the role he wants to. They always say something is wrong with and he is not good enough to be the prince or the dragon and things like that. His mom is constantly reminding him he is very special by saying "Your special because your you!" Eventually Milo does find his place. The book has colorful, interesting pictures. You can always find something you didn't notice before.… (plus d'informations)
