Like many of the puppy nominations this seems like part of a larger work. Apparently the puppies don't actually know how to write short fiction so they just chop the required number of words out of whatever boring piece of crap they have laying around and call it good. And seriously, they seem to have a lot of crap laying around. Hey Puppies! Maybe your SF/F isn't winning awards because it's boring? Really, I'm tired of writers who don't know when to stop. I'm tired of story fragments. I'm tired of boring stories out of the 1950s. I'm tired of stilted, odd and stereotypical language that doesn't sound like real people talking to one another.
I'm pretty convinced at this point that there was an never an anti-puppy conspiracy, they just have really bad taste and they're mad that everyone is reading real books.… (plus d'informations)
