Peter Afrasiabi

I came across a great photograph of Harry Bridges (I will attempt to insert it here if I can remember how to do it), and I had no idea who he was. The story of his career as leader of the ILWU is a sad indictment of the FBI, the INS, the federal court system, and many political "leaders" both low and high. That they were all together unable to deport Mr. Bridges over a 20 year period based on fabricated evidence and serial perjury, is ultimately only slightly encouraging. Some reviewers have commented that this book is not well written, but I didn't find any serious problem with it.
