Goal : Glory Days, written by Robert Rigby, is a motivational and adrenaline - rushed story involving a superstar soccer player whom of which is at his peak, playing in the greatest tournament in the world, the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Santiago Munez is a man who was born in Mexico but immagrated and grew up in the streets of Spain. Munez faces a dilema in which he choses to play for Mexico internationally, he finds that even at the top of his game, he still cannot find a place in the 23 - man squad nor has he had a cap(game) for the team so being the opportunist that he is, Munez switches sides to the Spanish international team, being farfetched as it is, Munez somehow finds a place in the 23 - man squad. At a club level, playing for Real Madrid, it was no inconvenience getting a passport and living in Spain with Jules, his wife. Although the movie, GOAL:III is based on the novel just as the other movies in the series are, it has alterations throughout the storyline. Despit confrontations and injury scares, Munez competes on the grandest stage of them all for World Cup glory. The novel is targeted at ages 13 and above and is an ideal read for all soccer lovers. I rate this book 5 stars and hope the novel was compelling and interesting for you as it was for me. ( ) aucune critique | ajouter une critique
