I bought a copy and am almost wishing I'd bought two. I want to frame every single picture here. Simply stunning. I round up to five stars from 4.6 because everyone should look at it. I mark down only because the text is minimal, intrusive, trivial, and difficult to read - it's just a few affirmation-style quotes printed in a strange font on tissue overlay. Maybe, if I did frame lots of the pictures in a gallery display, I'd frame the text, too, just for the sake of the composition of the array. But in book form, no.

But again, the pictures speak for themselves; they are so very beautiful.

And the weeds are identified in a nicely laid out 'glossary' in the back, so if you want you can find your own examples. Bjornson found most of these near Chicago - but weeds are tough so probably most are widespread or have cousins in your area. ( )
