Beware the Wolfman is the final book in the Werewolf Horror trilogy set in London. The twins are in the midst of a summer internship with the London Journal when a series of shocking murders takes place. At the end of the second book in the series, Jessica's boyfriend, Lord Robert Pembroke is named the lead suspect in the murder investigation. Needless to say, Jessica is not happy that her sister has declared Robert public enemy #1.
The twins are at odds once again, and while Sam's accident is brought up, Margo never is. It's an unusual oversight considering the fact that it represents the twins' last massive fight that divided them. Given how not so long ago it was, you would think they'd remember it, even if they didn't decide that splitting up always ends in a body count.
Anyway, my favorite bit about this, other than it's actually a bit spooky for a SVH book, is that it definitely draws a line in the sand. Vampires, ghosts, hauntings, evil twins, doppelgangers, ESP? All totally cool.
Werewolves? Dude, that's crazy. That's the line, guys. And it has remained true no matter what subsection of SV you're reading. ( )
