I have read many variations of things that include the other side once life occurs. I enjoyed the way in which he described it and how he pulled all three story's together nice and neat. I however did not enjoy the ending of the first book when it was revealed as to what had actually happened to Shari that night on the balcony. Otherwise - the books were wonderful and I would gladly read them again. ( ) As three books in one (including REMEMBER ME, THE RETURN, and THE LAST STORY) I almost feel as if this one deserves three different reviews. I very much enjoyed REMEMBER ME. I have never read anything quite like it it before. Although it was written for teenagers and young adults, I feel that is expresses some very adult concepts and life views. It definitely made me think. The second story, THE RETURN, was also good. However, although it also included an interesting concept it wasn't as well written as the first one. It seemed to have a much slower pace. The final story, THE LAST STORY, was a terrific end to the trilogy. I found it to be better written than the THE RETURN yet still not as good as REMEMBER ME. Although this one's pace was also a bit slow it made up for it with the ending. Overall, I say that Christopher Pike is a very talented author and I look forward to reading some more of his work. This book is about a girl who is murdered at a party and her experience in the afterlife. She spends a majority of the first part of the book figuring out how she was murdered and in the second half, writing a book about it. I really enjoyed this book. There was a lot of suspense and drama, which I really enjoyed. It did not take me very long to read this book because it kept me wanting to come back for more whenever I sat it down. I probably would read this with a high school age group if I did in class. This book is definitely not for young children. I just finished reading Remember me and I thought it was really good. It was a nice change up to have the character be dead and trying to solve her murder. Shari has a pretty likable personality and great sense of sarcasm haha! The author did a great job with her character. Overall, I enjoy the story line, liked the character and really enjoyed the ending and Im looking forward to reading The Return. So, I would give this a 5 out of 5. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
