A book about the need for critical thinking would seem to be timely, but it really is unsatisfying. There are some good things in the book but it does not hold up well through the book length format. There is a lot of stuff that feels at best peripheral to the topic, and thrown in to make the book long enough. There is a lot of repetition and not the good kind, the kind that just suggests someone needed more words. Overall an important topic, and if you can use this as a buffet, you would get about two or three platefuls, but not enough to feed those who are hungry. ( )
