An excellent, heavily researched, historical fiction account of Napoleon and Wellington's battles culminating in the Battle of Waterloo and Boney's defeat. Simon Scarrow is a great story teller and the story skips along. Very enjoyable indeed. Not many books of mine get five stars - if there were six then this book might well deserve it. It is the best book I've read on the Wellington vs, Napoleon war. So well written that it's very easy to read what could have become quite a dry subject. I now have a much more complete understanding of the subject. More strength to your pen, Mr. Scarrow! May you write many more such fascinating books! The first three books in this series were great, fast paced and gripping. The fourth and final book was a little hard going and after 100's of pages of preamble, Waterloo (battle of) was disappointing and only briefly covered. Simon Scarrow is a truly great historical fiction writer and this series is a must-read for any Scarrow fans. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Sin embargo, el momento en que Napoleón y Wellington se verán las caras se acerca, y promete convertirse en un gran acontecimiento histórico, Waterloo.
