(On a personal note, however, there is waaaaay tooooo much New York in this! I recognize my own prejudices toward that town's teams, and I totally understand how much the Yankees have dominated the game and are in many ways, the faces of MLB. Still, I don't like either team, and they are way to overrepresented in this book. There are at least 9 pictures related to the Yankees, 2 separate ones for Yogi Berra alone, and at least 4 related to the Mets - 3 of them for their 1986 championship team!!! Come on folks, there are only 26 letters in our alphabet! Add in the NY Giants, Brooklyn Dodgers, and Cooperstown, and that's a least 8 more! Geez Louise, y'all, there is some game in the middle and west coast of our country too! Crimeny!)
But it is a beautiful book! I mean it! :-) ( )
