This book is about a boy named Paul who races dogs. He races them and gets into trouble with the meanest scariest gang in town. The Victory Rats. They are all out to get Paul and his friend Kid Kabula who both cause so much trouble and pain for the Victory rats by snooping into their business. They do so many things from racing in the mall and jumping into the dumpsters.

I think this book is very good and has lots of imagery in it. I think the way he portrayed the different characters and described them was excellent. I think the story line was okay but in some parts started to get a bit boring. I think the author could have added a bit more to the end of the book to show the whole story more clearly. The cover design and the blurb look very good and show what is in the story very well and clearly. I would recommend this to people who are of the age of 11 and above. If I had to give this a rating out of 5, I would give it 4. ( )
