After educating yourself with this book you may decide you are curiously into these animals that nobody typically loves! From the dangerous great white shark to the sometimes deadly black widow spider, this informative text explains the technicalities of each creature it features, and the amazing photographs don't spare any detail as well. The bibliographical information about the author on the back flap states he has written over 200 science books for kids and that at least half of them have won awards form the National Science Teachers Association. It also declares he has received many prestigious awards commemorating his work through the years, which can be confirmed on his namesake website. His books are published around the world. ( ) Although it scared me at times, I really liked this book. Its simple layout (each page was a new animal) and a table of contents helped navigation and facilitate learning. The writing explained complicated terms in simple language so that even young readers could learn. I really liked the use of photographs as illustrations because they were realistic and aided in proving why people generally don't like these animals. The purpose of this book was to inform its readers on gross/scary animals because every animal deserves to be learned about! aucune critique | ajouter une critique
