This slight book would have benefited from being fleshed out more, as there were aspects of the story that were not fully explained, leaving a lot of holes in the plot. There are a lot of convenient plot points that were resolved too quickly for my tastes. Still, it is a quick, light read - good for a relaxing summer's day. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

The lord of every woman's secret dreams, he branded her his with a touch. . . . "Where am I?" Lydia Star begged of the dangerously appealing stranger whose dark eyes studied her carefully. "Camelot," he answered softly, and she knew it was true--and impossible! Transported across time by her own longing and an ancient ring, she found herself prisoner in a knight's castle . . . and stunned by her desire for her captor. Could this enigmatic warrior be the keeper of her soul, and she his spirit's mate for all eternity? Peggy Webb's creative talents shine in this utterly irresistible, sensual dream of a romance. He made her shameless with longing and tempted her with every forbidden pleasure he knew, but could the hero who'd possessed her with each tender caress survive the journey to his heart's true home? His father is dangerous, and demands absolute obedience, but on the night of his twenty-first birthday and announcement of his engagement, Drake changes everything.
This was a cute and easy read, but I felt like I was missing a prequel. Drake and Colin have already been intimate for years, and there’s mention of the King’s abuse, but we don’t see it and the story basically takes place in a couple of days. I enjoyed it, but honestly felt like it was too brief. I was completely intrigued with the Dragons, and the land where they live. I almost wanted more from the dragons than the people.
