I enjoyed the fated mates aspect here and Amber’s story and prophecy. Duncan without a memory was much better than with one, and I hated that there was no abject begging for forgiveness at what he put Amber through; it was rough to read. Considering how much these men hate women, it’s a wonder to see the HEAs; I guess this is what happens from books written in the early 90s. ( ) I certainly enjoyed Forbidden, the second book in a medieval trilogy. I enjoyed the voice of Amber, the untouched, who's one of the "learned". Touching another was impossible for her, since it brought her intense pain, until a wounded "Dark Warrior" enters her life. Duncan, has no memory of his prior life and can not only touch her but he completes her. However, Amber knows that if Duncan's memory returns, he may hate her..... and then there's the prophecy that if she gives herself completely, body, mind and soul, that it may mean her death. I don't want to give away the story but I certainly enjoyed the characters, the story line and certainly the romance. Jack Murphy aucune critique | ajouter une critique
