I really had a hard time getting into this one. The characters seemed stilted, with little emotion or interest. The story seemed drawn out through the whole book. What could have been told in one chapter was dragged through the whole book. I just didn't enjoy this one at all. I usually love Amanda Ashley's writing but this one ws almost boring to me. As the story proceeds they find themselves attracted and the two of them have to deal with the truth and with the other vampires in the city, at least one of which is Edward's ex.
I don't know why, it's a pretty cliched story, but it was quite readable and entertaining. ( )
