For the beginner, there are basic lessons including background on just what HTML, CSS and the other mysterious acronyms you will encounter are and how Dreamweaver uses them. While this book may not be the best resource for becoming grounded in these aspects of web design, you will be able to understand what they are.
For the more experienced Dreamweaver user or intermediate level website creator, the book is a great way to quickly learn to do something. The index is well laid out and the table of contents follows a logical flow as well.
While outstanding, nothing is 100% ideal. We all learn in different ways, so your experience may be different. If you are beyond the basics of text editor created HTML and are considering Dreamweaver, this manual will give you an excellent feel for the capabilities of the application. If you have a previous version of Dreamweaver, this is an excellent addition to your bookshelf. ( )
