This book is a good example of realistic fiction because the events that happened in this book did not really take place but they could have. The plot of this book is about a first grade Halloween party at one of the student's house. The mom sets up a fun house in the backyard, and the conflict of the story is that some kids are scared to go in, but in the end it is not scary, and it really is fun. The artwork in the book looks like it is pen and ink, and possibly edited on the computer. This is a story of a children's Halloween party that included a haunted house. At first the children are hesitant and scared but later learned the haunted house isn't anything to be afraid of. They end up having lots of fun. This book is perfect for the beginner reader. Very easy to read and well drawn pictures are sure to attract the little ones. I think it would be better if it was more detail but it is for the new reader. I would use this book at storytime during the Halloween holiday. I could use it to lead into an art project - draw something you would see in a haunted house. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
