I really enjoyed this book as the story used to help Spike with his fears is thought a Hindi festival – Divali – and the story about how the festival came about. Spike’s teacher used shadow puppets to present the story, which help Spike understand his fears. The use of the Hindi story was unusual and refreshing. It has a activity section in the back of the book that shows how to make shadow puppets. I would recommend this book for school and for home reading. (
