This is a simple book about our common human body parts. The photographs are vibrant and diverse. The text is very simple and easy to read, perfect for beginning readers! This would be a good book to introduce a Preschool "All About Me" unit, and then it could be added to the classroom Library Center for the kids to re-read. ( ) "The Body Book" is a picture book filled with photographs of babies, young children, and older people displaying the five senses and demonstrating what each body part is. The wording and pictures displayed demonstrate each sense very nicely and in a way for young children to understand. I enjoyed this book and the diversity displayed in it. There were people of different ages, races, etc. I did not see any person with a physical disability though. I would have liked to see the diversity extend to that as well. Overall though, I liked the book and would read this with my own students to introduce the different terms and senses of the human body. The Body Book is a children's picture book about the body. The fives senses are talked about in the story and what they do. For example we use our nose to smell, our eyes to see, etc. I think this story would be great for a younger class especially is their learning about the parts of the body. The pictures in the story are very big and bold so I think children would enjoy that. THE BODY BOOK is an easy to read nonfiction book for young students to learn about the different parts of the human body. The simple text and use of real photographs gives the book an appealing quality for children just learning how to read. The book is a simple informational text with little access features, but it is clearly organized for children. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
