Bigfoot returns from exile to share his inspiring, hilarious, candid and deeply disturbing account of his life as a misunderstood forest gentleman and tragic media darling. These stories stand out not only as a great testamant to the man-beast, but also as a cautionary tale of the downside of a life of excess, celebrity, cannibalism, celebrity cannibalism, wanton violence and lack of toilet training. Bigfoot offers a glimpse into the world of a stinky carnivore that is thrown into the tailspin of American culture.… (plus d'informations)

Good lord, this was a belly laugh and a half! A few pages fell flat, but the ones that hit hit pretty hard. Granted, your sense of humor should be a little dark and twisted to enjoy it thoroughly, but if that describes your sense of humor then I highly recommend picking this up. ( )

I bought this for my nephew - but snuck a read before I handed it over. I was laughing out loud in the beginning of the book, quietly chuckling toward the later half and kind of over it toward the end. It's not so much that I outgrew it that quick (only took about 30 or 40 minutes to read), but I think the material as the book went on just wasn't as good as what was in the beginning. Maybe Roumieu used his best material in the beginning. Either way, still really funny early on, enough so that I recommend it. ( )

This book is funny. Inappropriate and unexpected, and really, really funny. I read it in one sitting and was laughing almost the entire time. I Not Dead is one of those books where everything about it is so completely unexpected that you have to laugh. Great writing. ( )

My inner 12-year-old boy was all over this one. ( )

Hilarious. The cover of this book caught my eye in the bookstore and after flipping through it, I couldn't leave the store without it. The humor is dark, gross, and really dirty at times, but overall the character Bigfoot and the idea of the book is very clever and smart. Someone has tagged this a "children's book," but let me warn you that very few parents would feel comfortable giving this to a child. That's kind of the genius of it: it's set up like a children's book but it's so not. ( )
