How odd that back in 1976 the heroine could be 21 and the hero 39 and absolutely no mention was made of the nearly 20 year age difference. Fun old HP. Nothing too unusual although here the hero is the one with amnesia. There was POV from both the hero and the heroine. You didn't know the hero real well though. They didn't spend a lot of time together. Oddly at the end neither one admitted love for the other. I guess in 1976 a proposal of marriage and an acceptance were as good as a declaration or at least it was sufficient for these two. ( ) aucune critique | ajouter une critique
Justina was in a dilemma. As she listened to his words, she realized her plan had backfired. "But we're not strangers, are we?" he questioned grimly. "We're husband and wife and somehow I don't find your explanations very reassuring." Who was this man? And why should she let herself care about an amnesia victim? After all, she only needed him to act as her husband temporarily. She had hated the real Andrew. But this man made her feel altogether different. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
