majkia: Another coming of age book, but granted, in a completely different environment. Still, both have strong central characters who grow, and change to the backdrop of war, and have a marked impact on their worlds.
elbakerone: Both of these works are Book One in their respective series and represent a wonderful foray into epic fantasy with expansive landscapes and well-drawn characters.

Bien que l'on s'attende à la lecture du résumé à suivre les aventures du jeune orphelin Tavi on va dés les premières pages suivre une autre héroïne, Amara (espionne et agent du duc). Les deux personnages vont finir par se rejoindre et se battre dans le même but.
Le monde décrit par Jim Butcher m'a énormément plus avec cette originalité des furies ( sortes d'éléments de feu, d'eau, d'air...) associés à chaque habitant du royaume d'Aléra et qui leur prêtent leurs forces et leurs pouvoirs spécifiques.
J'ai adoré aussi les personnages, possédant chacun une personnalité poussée et attachante, un caractère et des particularités propres.Impossible de ne pas s'attacher a certains d'entre eux!
De plus, l'action dans ce livre ne s'arrête jamais!L'histoire est pleine de rebondissement, d'intrigues, de politiques...Impossible de le lâcher à la fin d'un chapitre!
